Hello Parent, Legal Guardian, and Student, 

I hope you all have had a great week! Here are the updates for each class. Please make sure to email me with any questions or concerns.

Health:

This week your student was introduced to the facts about Tobacco. I will be putting information up on the health section of my website for parents to gain more knowledge about Teens and Tobacco along with what your student is learning. Please look for this on my blog or the health section on the class website.

Mind Body and Wellness:

This week your student learned about how often they should ever feel stressed. We have been discussing that real stress should only be turned on when in real danger. Ask your student’s about the Big Bear Effect.

Weight Training:

This is a reminder for ALL Weight Training Student’s and Parent’s. A notebook is needed for this class. Your student tracks their exercises through their journal. They will be receiving a lot of points for their journal. Please make sure that your student is bringing their journal to the weight room along with a water bottle.

Endurance Training:

This is a warning. We just had our final Kearns Triathlon. I had eight students who did not show. Each triathlon is worth 50 points. If your student did not come to the triathlon, they need to make it up. I have a few options that they can choose from in order to make it up.
