Graphic Design students completed the zen doodle project highlighting OPA’s 4 core principles of being safe, responsible, respectful, and prepared. They have moved onto their next project which entails word art and making thoughtful and deliberate choices regarding text, font, color, and size.
Photography students went on a local field trip to the river where they continued their portraits. They discovered new outdoor backdrops and studied the proper usage of light and shadow to capture engaging portraits of their classmates!
Yearbook students continued to learn the important controls of the DSLR camera and began shooting under various lighting conditions such as the gym and school hallways to ensure proper focus and exposure. These different types of shooting environments are important practice for the final photographs in the yearbook.
