Students: The Day of the Fair
Science Fair Schedule
SCIENCE FAIR DAY:
7:30-8:00 a.m Set up science fair board in gym
8:00 a.m. to noon Judging
1:00-2:00 Science fair open to the public
2:00 -2:30 Science fair awards
2:30 – 3:00 Take down and take home
On the day of the fair, you will need:
Your science fair board. Set it up in the gym before school and then go to class. Wait to be called down to be judged.
Your log-book or workbook. This could contain research, rough draft data collection etc.
Your presentation notes. 3 x 5 cards work great.
Yourself looking snazzy. You may dress up or wear a clean, neat uniform.
A library book, homework to work on as you wait. You will may be there 30-60 minutes, and are not allowed to get up and walk around. You must stay at your project for the entire time or you will be asked to leave the fair.
Things you would like to show the judges in reference to your project. (Nothing that can spill or make a mess).
Let your parents know that the science fair will then be open to the public from 1:00-2:00.
The award ceremony will take place on Science Fair day from 2:00 to 2:30 in the ELEMENTARY GYM. Parents are invited to attend.
