1.  New Whitelisted Apps in the Chrome Webstore

VLC Media App – Now you can watch videos of any format using the VLC Media Player.  Supports most video formats, including external DVD Drives.

Kami PDF – With Kami tools, you can annotate, markup, and collaborate on your PDF, document, or image files.

Infogram – Make beautifully animated charts, graphs, and reports online – no coding skills required.

Audio Cutter – Online Audio Cutter allows you to effortlessly cut out a desired musical fragment from an MP3 file or a file in other formats.

Time and Line – A hosted application for creating timelines. The timeline takes different units and shows their distribution during a timeframe.

Vernier Graphical Analysis – A tool for science students to collect, graph and analyze data from Vernier sensors and LabQuest® interfaces.  (This app is force installed on all JH student accounts)

2.  IPEVO Document Cameras distributed

If you signed up for an IPEVO Document Camera, they have been distributed to all users.  Bruce Boughton has created some video tutorials for basic usage of the IPEVO Document Camera:

3.  Canvas at OPA

All users that signed up to be a part of the Canvas Early Adopter Program at OPA have been invited to the UEN Professional Development Class within Canvas.  A few have begun their training.  On the admin side, Andrew Smith participated in the first USBE Canvas Admin meeting and has begun the integration process with our dedicated Canvas Support team.
