OPA IT is proud to introduce the OPA IT Beta Program starting in February 2016. For those of you that dont know, a Beta program is a pre-release of hardware or software that is given out to a group of users to try under real conditions. Beta versions have gone through initial testing in house and are generally fairly close in look, feel and function to the final product that will be released; however, design and product changes often occur as a result of the program.
OPA IT is going to be performing these beta tests on a number of hardware and software programs at the school for the remainder of 2016. Beta Test groups include…
1. Teacher Devices
2. New Apple Classroom Features
3. Library Devices
4. New Printing Functionality
5. And many more…
We feel that the beta program will not only provide users with better devices and software to help them perform better in their classrooms, but it will also help the OPA IT staff narrow the gap between devices, software, and support for those products. Ultimately, the OPA IT Beta Program will hopefully get the proper tools in the hands of the people that need them the most.
