We made it through the 1st quarter Wahoo! I am so proud of all the hard work the students put in to reaching their personal goals in my class. We are getting close to ending our Hydrosphere unit. The unit test will be 11/15. We will be preparing in and out of class so be sure to use the study guides to prepare for the test. We are also participating in a Water Project, which is a fundraiser to help build a well for a village in Africa. We have pledged to not drink any other liquids besides water for the next two weeks and put the money we would have spent purchasing sodas or other drinks towards funding our water project! Here is a link to our online page, you can donate directly there or wait and donate at the end of the 2 weeks. If everyone donates just 23$ we will be able to raise $1,900 for the water project! No one is being graded on this or penalized in any way if they don’t participate but it is a great way to incorporate our knowledge of water conservation, water quality, and human impact on the environment by participating in something that will help bring clean water to others in need. Keep up all the good work and I am so glad you are all in my class!
New Quarter, New Goals!
