Masters of Physician Assistant Studies



Tyler was born and raised in Ogden, Utah where he developed a love of the outdoors by spending summers divided between the foothills of Mt. Ogden and the desert of southern Utah. He attended Roy High School and after graduating lived in Mexico City, Mexico while serving a two year mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints where he learned to speak Spanish fluently, a language he continues to speak on a daily basis.
After returning from Mexico he attended Weber State University where he completed his Bachelors of Arts degree. Afterwards he attended Idaho State University where he earned a Masters of Physician Assistant Studies. Since 2009 he has been a practicing Physician Assitant-Certified in Ogden. He practices family medicine and urgent care.
He has experience working with the Hispanic youth of Ogden serving as the leader of a local Hispanic scout troop.
In his free time he enjoys landscape photography, running, hiking, waterskiing and camping with his wife and three daughters in the desert of southern Utah. His daughters’ favorite places to visit are Goblin Valley and Pineview Resevoir.
