Our Kindergarten back to school schedule is different than our Elementary and Jr. High schedule. Here is a overview of our Kindergarten back to school schedule:
- KEEP Testing
Dates: August 12 & 13, 2025
Details: A sign-up link will be sent out at the end of July.
- Teacher Assignment Calls
When: Evening of Wednesday, August 13 or Thursday, August 14
Details: Parents will receive a phone call from OPA with their child’s assigned classroom teacher.
- Kindergarten Back-to-School Night
Date: Thursday, August 14, 2025
Time: 5:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Purpose: Meet your child’s teacher, visit the classroom, and get ready for an exciting school year!
- First Day of Kindergarten
Date: Friday, August 15, 2025
Schedule: Half-day
Note: This year, kindergarten begins on a Friday.
- Transition Half-Days
Dates: Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday – August 18, 19, 20
Schedule: Half-day schedule for Kindergarten only
- Full-Day Schedule Begins
Date: Thursday, August 21, 2025
