What is a junk journal you might be asking yourself?
A junk journal is a handmade book filled with personal and recycled materials to store memories and ideas. Like its name implies, the pages are filled with material that’s usually thrown away.
Think newspapers, old tickets, fabric scraps like lace and ribbons,
mismatched buttons, stamps, stickers, homework, pictures, brochures and more.
Junk Journal Club is an opportunity for your student to participate in a project directed club where he or she can create a book of memories. Mrs. Reisen will supervise the club and direct students. Parents are welcome to assist. Contact info breisen@ogdenprep.org.
