Heroes of History Club is an opportunity for your student to learn about people who have made a difference in the lives of others. Heroes of History club will help us learn about resilience and courage. A few examples of the heroes we will be learning about are Anne Frank and Harriett Tubman. Among learning about history, this club will be led in the study and discussions of going back in time with our imagination, may watch little clips from movies or trailers, and have an occasional snack. Due to the nature of troubled times in history we may be learning about, while age appropriate, we ask for those who can be respectful in the 4th, 5th or 6th grade only. Heroes of History Club will be held in room 210 (art room) every 1st and 3rd Monday of the month. It is limited to 20 students. Contact Jamie Coe at jcoe@ogdenprep.org for more information.
