Book Clubs will be starting in September! Permission slips are available in the library and at the bottom right on the Book Club tab for printing. Book Clubs are once a month and will meet right after school until 3:45 pm in the elementary library.
1st and 2nd grade book club – September 7th
2nd and 3rd grade book club – September 14th
5th and 6th grade book club – September 21st
Lego Club – Tuesdays, weekly
1st – 6th grade
Lego Club is an opportunity for your student to participate in creating with Legos after school in the art room. Some grades may be directed to create certain projects and work in small groups. Mrs. MacKay will supervise this club. 1st through 6th grades are welcome. Due to high demand for this club we will be accepting the first 35 permission slips for this club for First Quarter. Students will be rotated each quarter to give everyone a chance to participate.
Come relax and stretch with us for 40 minutes after school. We offer yoga to students in 1st-6th grade, every Monday right after school until 3:45 pm. All levels are welcome, please be aware of your limitations and injuries. Permission slips are available in the elementary library and at the bottom right of the Yoga tab online on OPA Eagles site.
Young Runners 2016-2017 is starting soon!
Young Runners will be starting September 8th, beginning at 3:10 pm and going until 4 pm. Permission slips are available in the library and online for download. Any 2nd-9th grade student is welcome to attend. Please bring running clothes, running shoes, and water to each practice.

This club is intended for students who love books and libraries who would like to enjoy each other’s company in a fun environment. At this first meeting we will be discussing what activities and books we would like to focus on in September.
