OPA Schoolwide Assessments
i-Ready Mathematics Diagnostic
OPA has chosen i-Ready as one support for math instruction. Part of the i-Ready system is a diagnostic assessment tool that measures student mastery and progress in the mathematical concepts. These assessments are given three times each year.
OPA uses the data from the diagnostics to assess the success of the math programs and interventions.
Assessment of Performance toward Proficiency in Languages (AAPPL)
American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages (ACTFL)/AAPPL
OPA is working on obtaining a contract to administer portions of the AAPPL assessment to students in particular OPA Spanish classes. This assessment will help students, teachers, and parents understand student Spanish acquisition progress.
